Be Focused

· Food For Thought

You decide what lives and what dies. The things you give time and attention to are the things that grow and develop.

Focus requires that you have a short-term memory for some things and deliberate concentration on other things.

Focus means that you won’t get hung up on activities in your peripheral view; that you relinquish profitless thoughts; and acknowledge what really matters

Philippians 3:13 and 14 reminds us of this, “I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Today’s scripture speaks of the personal journey of one focused on doing the will of God, not perfect but perfectly-minded to accomplish God’s plan.

Focus places value on purpose, breaks through barriers, and pushes through pressures to claim victory.

Focus makes good use of time, ignores discomfort, and doesn't forget about self-encouragment.

Focus sees challenges as opportunities to build strength, character, and endurance.

Focus takes the initative to evaluate self and remedy distructive behaviors.

Focus realizes that each step closer to God is another step in the right direction.

Be Focused.
