Be Thankful...Rejoice

November 8, 2022

Day 8 - An Attitude of Gratitude 30-Day Challenge: Write down one thing you're thankful to God for and do something specific to return the kindness.

When people see you are they glad to see you come or glad to see you go?

Truth is, our nature and response to life (both good and not so good) are testaments that reflect our willingness to maintain an “Attitude of Gratitude”.

Today's Attitude of Gratitude word is REJOICE.

Google defines “rejoice” as showing great joy and delight.  The mark of joy is synonymous of those who seek God’s perspective and bask in His presence.

When I think of God’s many blessings upon me, I feel great joy and delight. The world should experience the rejoicing of those who are grateful to God.

Psalm 107:21-22 reminds us of this, “Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing.”

Rejoicing—showing great joy and delight is what people should see in you. That doesn’t mean that you walk around like a phonetic shouting “Hallelujah” and “Praise the Lord” all the time. But it does mean that your nature and overall attitude should reflect a spirit of peace, hope, and gratefulness. Others will see God’s good works in you and rejoice too.

So, be thankful to God and declare His works with rejoicing!”
