But God—

Brought the 'SON' Shine!

· Food For Thought

Two benefits of the sun—light and warmth—are essential to our growth and maturity. The sun’s absence would result in a dark and frigid environment in which very few living things would be capable of surviving.

A cold, cloudy day gives us a small taste of what life might be like without the sun. Under those conditions most of us prefer to stay indoors and under covers.

But God—

—brought the 'SON' Shine!

2 Corinthians 4:6 "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light oft he knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

—loves us inspite of ourselves!

Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

—is faithful!

1 Corinthians 10:13 "..but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."

—is filled with love and mercy!

Ephesians 2:4-5 "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead intrespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).”
