When God created you, He was specific, intentional, and filled with purpose. You were created for greatness!
For the past few weeks my heart has been heavy for women and children who have been victims of abuse—verbal, emotional, and physical. Many of our sisters and their children suffer in silence and even after physical bruises go away the emotional effects persist generation after generation.
For those who have been talked down to, beaten or broken, know that God loves you. If you know a sister who has been a victim of any form of abuse pray for her, reach out to her, and encourage her to get help before it’s too late.
Deuteronomy 31:6 reminds us of this, “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Trust God. Believe God. Look for God. He created you for greatness and is waiting to hear from you.
Seek safety and get help for yourself and your loved ones.
Our prayer for those who suffer in silence:
May God empower you to be strengthen at the very core of your existence. May He fill you with the courage needed to seek truth and walk in faith. May God give you direction and the guidance needed to ensure your safety and the security of your children. May He surround you with people and resources needed to build you up and restore everything that has been lost..... Amen.
You are created for greatness. Seek help for you, your children, and the perpitrator(s).
