2022 Focus:  AWOGI Women Give: Our 2022 focus will speak from topics that encourage us to influence others through giving. Join us as we allow God's blessings to flow through the use of our time, our talent, and our treasure. 

As an additional reminder, sometimes God may also call us to give up people and things that are detrimental  to our physical, emotional or spiritual wellbeing.   

Scripture Reference: Luke 6:37-38 “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”    

AWOGI Women Give Goals

• To encourage and inspire women to give back to causes that support and uplift women and children 
• To introduce, inform, and connect women to nonprofit causes that are in need of financial and volunteer support 
• $1000.00 donated to each Designated Nonprofit 
• 1000 Volunteer Hours 
• 1000 Pounds of Food Bank Donations 

AWOGI Designated Nonprofits for Volunteer and Donation Opportunities: 

Allow God’s blessings to flow through your giving to others. In an effortto encourage women to give and connect them to causes that support women and children, AWOGI has designated the following nonprofit agencies as recipients of special emphasis for volunteer and financial giving in 2022:  

• The Haven
•  Women’s Shelter in Houma, LA (supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault) 
• BraveHeart
•  in Baton Rouge, LA (supporting foster children across the state of Louisiana) 
• Sister’s Network, Inc.

 in Houston, LA (supporting woman who are faced with a breast cancer diagnosis)
