Love is in the air! In fact, millions of Americans are excited with anticipation for celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Forbes provided insight that consumers may spend more than $23 billion this year on Valentine’s Day for gifts which may include cards (40%), candy (57%), flowers (37%), jewelry (22%), dinner, and other special gifts.
Love, according to 1 Corintians 13:4-7, is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. Therefore, every day, may we embrace love, give love, and remind others to love…
