National disasters and the holidays can bring out the best in some and the worst in others.

THE HAVEN is a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to women who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.  

THE HAVEN supports women and children in Terrebonne, Lafourche, and Assumption parishes. This area was greatly impacted by the affects of Hurricane Ida in late August.  

We all need help sometimes.  THE HAVEN is proof that we can overcome anything and move forward by breaking the cycle of domestic violence.
