I think God smiles and so should you!
Numbers 6:24-26 says this, “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
Over the years I have heard people say that it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile. According to the experts that is probably not true.
But smiling does have its benefits. Don't take it from me, listen to the experts, Click Smiling vs Frowning to read more.
In my opinion, it's a good idea to look for things that bring us joy—our loved ones and friends, our favorite hobbies, flowers, puppies, and kittens.
God's blessings and promises are also something to smile about.
Thinking of these things is sure to bring smiles to our faces and set our mind at ease.
Truth is, in our own right, each of us is a reason to smile.
We have gifts, talents, and other attributes that bring valuable resources to the table of our family and work lives. Not only do we have a lot to smile about, we ARE a lot so smile about.
God has positioned you for a purpose. Look to God, live, and keep smiling.
I pray that God continues to smile upon you.
