Everyone has an opinion. Trust the voice of the ONE who matters most—GOD.
Instruction…Counsel…Guidance… All three can be received as we listen and acknowledge the voice of God.
As we consider “The Story I Tell Myself” focus continue to seek God’s perspective.
Every thought and decision we make is worthy of His instruction, counsel and guidance.
Isaiah 28: 23, 26, and 29 reminds us of this:
- 23 Give ear and hear my voice, listen and hear my speech
- 26 For He (God) instructs him in right judgement and teaches him
- 29 This also comes from the Lord of hosts, Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.
No one else can come close to matching righteous judgement, wonderful counsel, and excellent guidance.
We'll hear the voices of many, but only the voice of God has life-giving principles.
