He's Got the Whole World...

Hoping for Help

March 25, 2020

By now, many of you have seen the Facebook video of celebrities singing the tune “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands”.

It’s true. God is totally aware of everything we're experiencing. While He may not always halt catastrophe or evil from happening, He is sensitive to our cries and awaits the sincere actions of His people to turn towards Him.

Regardless of the situation or circumstance, our hope and help come from God. As Creator and Sustainer, He always has our best interest in mind. No matter the state or condition, our confidence and resolve must be in the Lord. As Father and King, He is good to those who draw near to Him.

Jeremiah 17:7-8, encourages us with this...

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Truth is, rain falls on the lives of the just and the unjust, but God is faithful. You will not slip through His fingers. Holding each of us in His hands, blessings are sure to come to those who continue to look to God for strength and are committed to walk in His ways.

Instead of focusing on the situation, concentrate on God’s goodness and wait on God’s Provision. Because...

"He's Got You and Me, Sister...In His Hands.

He's Got the Whole World in His Hands."

Challenge:

  • Believe that God is who He says He is
  • Trust that God will do what He says He will do
  • Walk in Obedience to His commands
