Surely you’ve heard the phrase, “Like Father…Like Son" or "Like Mother...Like Daughter".
Whether we aim to or not, we all teach. Our actions, attitudes, and articulation teach those close to us how to behave.
I'm so excited to be a grandmother and I pray my grandchildren see something in me that cause them to seek after God.
This week’s focus will be on Lois and Eunice a mother-daughter duo whose faith rubbed off on their offspring, Timothy.
2 Timothy 1:5 says this, “…when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.”
Today’s scripture recalls the Apostle Paul’s reminder of how young Timothy's faith in God was attributed to the examples of lessons taught to him by his mother and grandmother.
Live a life that pleases God and encourages others to emulate your actions and attitudes.
