I Can See Clearly, Now...

June 24, 2021

“I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my wat. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind. It’s gonna be a bright, bright sun shiny day.” Lyrics to the song, “I Can See Clearly Now” were written, recorded and performed by Johnny Nash in 1972.

As you can tell, I am a 70’s kind of girl. In my mind those were the days of REAL music.

As we enter the last stretch of our study on “SON” Shine, this song reminds me that sunshine brings sunlight. Such light helps us to see things more clearly.

The Bible declares that Jesus Christ is the Light of the world.

John 8:12 reminds us of this, "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

As we follow Christ, our lives are illuminated with light. This means that we will have the ability to see and understand things from a different perspective—God’s perspective.

God’s perspective is different from our own. It defies our own logic, disregards what makes human sense, and challenges the way we think.

To gain a clear perspective, look to the LIGHT!  'SON' Light.
