I Won't Complain

Abundant Life

· Food For Thought,Abundant Life

Contentment is a learned behavior.

Some say, misery loves company. I say, no one wants to be around anyone with a complaining spirit.

True—life isn’t always fair. True—unfortunate things happen causing hardship. True—sometimes circumstances lead to pain and suffering. Also true—those situations should always cause us to look up, seek God’s wisdom, and learn a lesson in contentment.

The Apostle Paul indicates that contentment is a learned behavior. Philippians 4:11-12 says this, “Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need."

We’re not promised that life would always be a flowery bed of ease. Sometimes, life is tough. Every experience is designed to provide life lessons and build confidence in God’s ability to carry us through.

Regardless of your current situation, Jesus Christ came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.

Walk In Abundannce for your own sake and for the benefit of those around you. Stop complaining, seek God’s strength, and learn the lessons of contentment.
