This holiday season, I am grateful for my intercessor, Jesus Christ.
The Prophesy: Isaiah 53:12
Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
The Prophecy Fulfilled: Romans 8:34
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
- A transgressor is one who has violated a law or command
- An intercessor is one who comes to the aid of another
- Jesus is our Intercessor
- Jesus gave His life that we might receive life (John 11:25-26 )
We will forever be in need of guidance, support, forgiveness and a Savior. Look to Jesus.
