It's Mind Right Monday...Know your history!

“Those who have no record of what their forebears have accomplished lose the inspiration which comes from the teaching of biography and history.” Carter G. Woodson

As we close out Back History month, let's remember the Father of Black History.  Carter G. Woodson was an American historian, journalist and founder of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH)

Woodson's mission was to ensure that African American life and history became part of the mainstream American History.  We should thank Carter G. Woodson and the ASALH for the establishment of Black History month.

Your history is history. Teach it to your children.
