LGBTQ is Not New: Seek God's Perspective

LBGTQ Defined:

Lesbian:  A woman whose primary sexual orientation is toward people of the same gender.

Bisexual: A person whose primary sexual and affectional orientation is toward people of the same and other genders, or towards people regardless of their gender.

Gay: A sexual orientation toward people of the same gender.

Transgender: An umbrella term for people whose gender identity and/or gender expression differs from what is typically associated with the sex they were assigned at birth.

Queer: An adjective used by some people, particularly younger people, whose sexual orientation is not exclusively heterosexual. 

The Word

  • God made them in His image; male and female (Gen. 1:27)
  • Sex distinctions serve as the foundation for marriage and the family (Gen 1:28)
  • Sexual immorality is sin (Lev 18:22)
