Nothing lives in the Dead Sea..... NOTHING!
Located near the city of Jerusalem, the Dead Sea is 1,412 feet below sea level and Earth's lowest elevation. It is also the saltiest body of water in the world and incapable of maintaining living matter.
We can say we BELIEVE all day long, but if we continue to live a sinner’s life, the reality of our eternal salvation will be questionable. True faith in God demands confession and demonstration.
For example, Rahab had been a prostitute. But she pleased God when she welcomed the spies and sent them home by another way. Anyone who doesn’t breathe is dead, and faith that doesn’t do anything is just as dead! James 2:25-26 (Contemporary English Version)
Rahab (the prostitute) made a move towards what she believed about God. Doomed to die with the rest of Jericho, she acted on what she believed by risking her life to help the spies. Her faith motivated. But her ACTIONS saved her life, and the lives of her family members. Most importantly, she gained eternal life in the process.
When we live Below “See” Level we are dead to the reality of a God who has the power to save us from sin and deliver us from a lifeless existence. Faith that does NOTHING is DEAD.
Jesus came that we might have life and have it MORE abundantly!
Accepting Jesus Christ as Savior is the start to living an abundant life. Making Him Lord of our lives is the key to stepping out on what we believe and stepping above any danger we might see.
