Love them enough to give them what really matters.
2 Timothy 1:5 “…when I call toremembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.”
Our final look at Lois and Eunice provides a picture of a mother who was there for her daughter and grandson. Together, they provided for the young Timothy’s physical and spiritual needs. We must follow this example and do the same thing.
Motherhood is an honor as well as an awesome responsibility. As innate nurturers, we are the first teachers our children know.
Teach your children to know and honor God. Seek to impart values that guide your children to trust God.
Grandmothers, support your daughters by being an example of Godliness. Stand beside them during childbearing and childrearing. As an advocate of righteousness, provide the direction and encouragement young mothers need to mature and succeed.
Love them enough to teach them what really matters.
