I’m pretty sure most of you have heard the phrase, “practice makes perfect.” The saying holds true for just about every activity—the more you do something, the better you get at it.
Athletes live by that sentiment. Repetition becomes so much a part of their routine, that they bodies almost instinctively know what to do and when to do it.
Psalms 105:4 encourages us with this, “Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore!”
The Bible declares that those who continually seek the Lord will find Him. He will be a shield to those in need of protection; a light to those in darkness; a guide to those who are lost; strength to those who are weak; and a Savior to those who are sinners.
Practice. Practice. Practice.
Practice seeking the Lord through prayer, reading the Bible and meditating on His Word. You'll get better and better at it because your practice will make perfect.
The Lord will respond by proving Himself strong in your life and entering your most intimate thoughts. He will meet you where you are and encourage you to grow beyond your wildest imagination.
Soon, you will begin to surprise yourself by accomplishing things you never thought you could and never dreamed you would.
Go for the Gold—Practice seeking the Lord!
