A queen is definitely a boss.
Over the years I’ve worked with several different types of leaders. Some are controlling micro-managers, while others are laid back and passive. Some are hands-on, while others expect the worker bees are responsible for completing day-to-day tasks. Some are team players, while others are ‘my way or the highway’. Either way, the boss is the boss.
Good leaders aren’t good leaders because they know everything. Good leaders are willing to admit what they don’t know and seek guidance in order to make informed decisions.
When working with a group the Queen Boss must acknowledge differences in personality, skill-set, and experience. They will utilize the knowledge and support systems that experts bring to the table for the benefit of the whole.
Proverbs 11:14 reminds us of this, “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.”
An effective Queen Boss has the ability to bring people together and not divide them.
The Queen Boss’ character, attitude and approach will set the precedence for how others see her and how well and willing others work together. Humility, gratitude, and appreciation are traits that are becoming for an exceptional Queen Boss.
Make Queen Boss Moves. Ensure that others are encouraged by your presence and inspired when you leave. Be a Queen Boss who is respected for her ability to build people up and not tear them down.
