Real Women Have 'REAL' Issues

Sisters Inspiring Sisters

February 10, 2021

Dear SIS,

Most of us are familiar with today’s television talk shows. Many hosted and produced by women address topics such as politics, entertainment, health issues, and who done what to whom.

For instance, when I hear the title “The REAL”, I assume that discussion might address how one really feels without false pretense or masks.

While these shows are informative and entertaining to some, I’d like to pose this question, “How can we use this example to create a similar platform that addresses what really matters?

Realizing that real women have real issues, this year's AWOGI’s focus is designed to help us elevate our thought-life so that our mind transcends over and above matters of our day-to-day experiences.

The Mind Over Matter focus continues to be the bases for the AWOGI Conference 2021, which will encourage participants to examine biblical principles that challenge our attitudes, mindsets, and behaviors by reminding us to seek God’s perspective and strength to manage our thought-life and personal actions.

REAL women have “real” issues!

Romans 8:37 reminds us of this,

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Sisters Inspiring Sisters

It’s time to be “REAL” and develop real conversations about real issues. God has already given us the resources we need to overcome our weaknesses and walk in our greatest potential.

Let's begin by encouraging, supporting, and understanding each other through meaningful conversations that build up and not tear down. Most importantly, let's include God in the conversation as we seek His perspective and not our own.

Join us on March 12 – 13 for Red Tablecloth Discussions and candid conversations to address "REAL" issues.
