God, is trying to tell you something!

In case you may have forgotten, Sunday is Easter or as some refer to it, Resurrection Day. This week’s AWOGI posts will focus on Remembering the Resurrection.

The Bible is clear about God’s love toward mankind. He desires to have a relationship with each of us that is real and personal. This can only be accomplished through His son, Jesus Christ.

John 3:16-17 declares,

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Our latest current events remind me of a song from the movie, “Color Purple” – “God is trying to tell you something.” My interpretation of what He is trying to say to us, "I Am Still in Control!"

Truth is, God always has been, is and will forever be in control.  He demonstrates that by putting us in situations that we cannot control. And yes, that includes the orchestration of life events designed specifically to get our attention, cause us to reconsider our actions and to draw us back to Himself.

So, in case you need a reminder, Salvation Through God’s, Son, Jesus Christ is God’s plan to save a troubled world. Let's pray that this HOLY Week will make an eternal difference in the lives of millions across the globe.
