I live in South Louisiana. Hurricanes and thunderstorms are the norm—so is loosing electricity. Just a few minutes of darkness ignites creativity.
One way to maximize minmal light source is to use a mirror. Placing a candle or flashlight in front of a mirror doubles the amount of light.
Likewise, the LIGHT of Jesus Christ should render the same reflective properties in and through our lifes.
Matthew 5:14-16 puts it this way, “You are the light ofthe world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Light is the only thing that despells darkness.
When the light of Jesus Christ shines within us, His reflective properties will illuminate to those around us. Love, kindness, joy and the spirit of peace are just a few things others will experience when we walk in the Light of Christ.
Let Jesus be the ‘SON’ Shine of Your Life and Your Light will Shine too.
