Are you standing on the promises or sitting on the premises?
As you consider “God’s Plan for Me in 2023” know, understand and believe the promises of God.
God promised to give hope and a future. He promised that if you seek Him you will find Him.
God promised that if you call upon Him, He will answer. He promised blessings when you walk in His will.
Romans 4:20-21 gives account of Abraham's reward for stepping out in faith, “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”
Abraham was convinced that God was able to perform what He promised and he was rewarded for his faith in a God who was able to deliver on all that He promised.
Stand on God’s promises.
For too long you have been sitting on the premises—hanging on to the coat tails of church and church folk; holding on to Big Mama’s prayers; and halting with your own willingness to follow God.
It's time to put on your big-girl shoes. Stand in your own faith and be confident that God will go before you and make a way for you.
Stand on God’s Word. Believe Him for who He says He is. Step out on faith and follow God in complete obedience. Make the necessary changes to demonstrate what you really believe.
Stand on God’s promises and stop sitting on the premises.
