Get back to the basics. Your devotion to God is personal and so is mine.
Truth is, each post you read is a snapshot of my personal devotion time with God. The scripture, the encouragement, the prayer it's all for me. I'm not trying to impress you or make you think I have this great knowledge or special connection (because I don't).
Plain and simple—God asked me to invite you along for the ride on my personal devotion journey. I was reluctant at first, but experience has shown me when I feel God urging me to do something, I need do it—our relationship is not the same when I refuse.
Now, it's your turn. Take time to read scripture, talk to God, and listen when He talks back to you. Pray, journal, meditate, ask questions, and most importantly, do what God says.
Your time, your devotion, your journey—it's all personal between you and God alone.
Take it personal and make it personal. Spend time with God by yourself. It's worth every effort.
