Friday's Are FABULOUS...and so is our final word on Love!
Valentine’s Day is one day that’s recognized each year. But that great love, that deep, genuine, pure love is what every Christian can reflect on every day of the year.
That great love, God’s love, and His compassion for us doesn’t fail; and each morning His demonstration of love is displayed as new mercies that run from generation to generation.
As a Christian, we must love the Lord our God before all and above all. Why? Because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).
According to 1 John 4:10, it’s not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent the Precious Lamb of God to be the propitiation for our sins.
Yes, That Great Love that can only come from our God is demonstrated toward us, even as sinners, Christ died on the Cross for us (Romans 5:8).
Therefore, our love for Him should not be discreet, but it should be demonstrated everywhere and in every situation that we encounter.
No matter what we go through, we can rejoice in knowing first and foremost how great God’s love is for His children.
And just as He loves us, we are to love the one and only God with all of our heart, all our soul, and all our strength (Deut 6:4-9).
Tips:
- When you feel alone, believe that God is always with you
- When you’re in doubt, believe that God can make a way for you
- When it appears that no one loves you, there is no greater love than God’s
