As we close out the month of July and our focus on "My Influence—My Impact" let us be reminded that God has a great plan for our lives.
We were created for relationship. As members of a civilized society, our intent should always be to encourage, support, and uplift one another.
For those of us who ascribe to the Christian faith, we bear a responsibility to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
This means becoming an example of everything He stood for—love, forgiveness, and sacrifice.
Colossians 3:15-17 reminds us of this: And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Influence others as Christ has influenced you.
