Google defines tendency as an inclination toward a particular characteristic or type of behavior.
When we trust God, He is inclined to act in a way that extends blessings, favor, and goodness towards us.
Psalms 31:19 reminds us of this…
Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men!
The Bible declares that God's great goodness has been laid up and prepared for those who fear and trust Him! That means abundant blessings are fixed, ready, waiting, and available for our consumption.
God’s tendency is always towards that which is good and that which is good for us. As we continue to focus on the topic Trust God and Trust the Process, remember that God is waiting on us to respond in a way that bends towards truth and trust. Truth that He is the only true God and Trust that He is exactly who He says He is.
Sometimes that trust leads us to step out on faith even in the midst of our fears. Other times it dictates that we wait patiently. Either way, we demonstrate trust by being obedient to God’s direction and His will—acting like God and extending that same goodness to others.
I don’t know about you, but I am ready for all the great, goodness God has in store—laid up and prepared for me.
