AWOGI posts for July will focus on Sacrifice and Service.
1 John 3:16 reminds us of God’s ultimate sacrifice. “By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”
Fueled by God’s unconditional love for us the birth, life, and death of Jesus Christ was intended to grab man's attention and most importantly, save the entire world—past, present and future.
Today, I give thanks to God for offering His only Son as a sacrifice for my sins. Though I could never repay Him for that, I feel obligated to do what I can to advance the cause of Christ.
Throughout this month AWOGI will take a look at those who have sacrificed their lives in service of others and express our gratitude for their faithfulness to the cause.
By encouraging you to evaluate your actions and attitudes related to sacrifice and service, AWOGI hopes that you will be challenged to seek opportunities to do good for those who can't repay you for your efforts.
Life is too short, not to take advantage of making a difference in someone’s life.

- Thank them for their service
