Birthday celebrations always bring me to a time when life was simple and uncomplicated. Joyfully, I can say I had a very pleasant childhood and upbringing.
A life characterized by a foundation filled with faith, family, and fun create wonderful memories that flood my mind and soul of celebrations and church.
Both were a training ground that established a relationship with God and the development of a life filled with joy and peace. Not because everything was perfect, but because we were taught to trust a God who is perfect regardless our own experiences.
Psalm 5:11 reminds us of this, “But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You.”
So, today I shout for joy unto the Lord for His many blessings. I honor the Lord for His faithfulness and His continued loving kindness towards me and my family.
Today, I am grateful for those who have intentionally nurtured the legacy of faith, family, and fun. For the earnest prayers of those who pleaded to God on behalf of myself and my family—I say "Thank You!"
As I approach another year peace and joy keep me looking to God and encourages me to hope in Him always.
God’s word encourages me and His continued grace sustains me in and through day-to-day challenges. I am victorious because He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
