Now, this one takes you way, way back! In the 1950s there was a game show entitled, "To Tell The Truth". And yes, there's been a resurgence of old TV game shows so you might be familiar with this one.
The object of the game is to guess who is telling the truth. Panelists quiz contestants in an attempt to expose the imposter. The person who guesses which contestant is telling the truth is the winner.
I wonder how this game would look like if Jesus and the devil were contestants.
Would people believe that Jesus turned water into wine while attending a wedding reception or would they believe the devil is the angel of light?
Could anyone believe that Jesus raised a man who had been dead for four days or would they believe that the devil is the giver of life?
Would all three panelists agree that Jesus is the Son of God or would they believe the devil is God's perfect gift?
1 John 5:20 reminds us of this, "And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. "
If the TRUTH were told, do you believe what the Bible says about Jesus?
If your life depened on it, could you honestly say you believe Jesus is Savior of the world—that he died so that we would have eternal life in heaven?
Truth is, your life does depend on exactly what you believe or don’t believe about Jesus.
