It's Mind Right Monday...Be Nominated For An Image Award!
The past 27 days has been filled with Black History programs, documentaries, and reminders of those who have endured the struggle, overcome the challenges, and contributed to the advancement of black people.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of watching the 2023 National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards. As with any other award show, the NAACP acknowledges and honors outstanding performances in film, television, music, and literature.
Education, sports, religion, entertainment, literary works, theater, inventions, politics, and civic involvement all hail the tireless contributions of courageous efforts towards unification and justice for all.
That got me to thinking. Let's take a moment to honor those who demonstrate excellence not only in their career, but more importantly in their day-to-day life.
Let's take another moment to reflect on our own image and strive to be the best we can be everyday by living a life that resembles the image of Godliness.
