God's Plan for Salvation
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
God Has A GREAT Plan....
You are not reading this page by coincidence. God has a great plan for you! The decision to walk in God's intended purpose begins with a personal relationship with Him. The Bible declares that Jesus Christ is the key to gaining access to the Father and eternal salvation.
Those who make a decision to accept Jesus Christ as Savior, immediately receives God's Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the mind of God and our Comforter. He reminds us of what God's word says and empowers us to live according to God's standard.
Accepting God's Plan for Salvation is as easy as ABC:
A - Admit you are a sinner
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
My friend, all of us have sinned. That includes you and me. The bible tells us that God hates sin. Adam and Eve’s decision to disobey God’s instruction caused division in their relationship and a separation between them and God. As a result of their disobedience, every person born into this world has the same sin sentence. But because God loves us and longs to have a relationship with us, He made a provision. This provision is based on an individual decision that requires the acknowledgement of our sin and our determination to turn away from this sinful condition.B - Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son; He died to pay for your sins
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
As Creator, God is the ultimate authority for life and death. A willingness to trust Him is essential. God’s gift of salvation comes in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is God in human form. He was born as a fulfillment to God’s word and a promise to the world. He walked this earth to be man’s example of how to live. Sinless, He died to pay the penalty for the sins of the human race (past, present, and future).C - Confess Jesus Christ as Lord
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
Here is yet another decision, but this one is the key. Simply professing that Jesus is "The Christ" is not enough. He must be Lord of our lives. A true response to this decision cannot be measured by what we say. Such a declaration can only be demonstrated by a life of commitment to Christ and obedience to God's word.A + B + C = God’s Plan For Salvation!
