I recently read something that said, “Stop quoting scriptures and try living some!”

Regardless of how much JESUS I think I have, Christianity is a proactive lifestyle that demands demonstration.

James 1:22-23 says this, "Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like." (The Message Bible)

So, here are a few actions that when demonstrated will definitely speak louder than my words:

• Loving
• Forgiving
• Not fornicating
• Reading my Bible
• Not commiting adultery
• Being a doer of the word
• Studying to show myself approved
• Being slow to speak and quick to hear
• Not letting evil communication come out of my mouth

Let's get back to the basics by acting like what we confess.
