Jesus came to be our example and a sacrifical offering for mankind.

The Prophesy:

Isaiah 53:10

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.

Prophecy Fulfilled:

Ephesians 5:1-2

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

• Offering is a person or a thing presented in order to satisfy a requirement
• Because of sin:
• Adam died a spiritual death (Gen. 2:16-17)
• Jesus died a physical death (John 18:32)

Jesus Christ became our sin offering. His life was offered on our behalf. He died that we might have a relationship with God and eternal life in heaven.
