I love watching documentaries, movies, and any story about the Royal Family. According to Wikipedia, Queen Elizabeth II is the monarch of fifteen Commonwealth realms. Though there are quite a few countries ruled by monarchs, Queen Elizabeth is the most notable.
If you’ve heard anything about the Royals, you know that kings, queens, and princes are not perfect. Though they seem to have it all, I image the pressures of living under such high standards, scrutiny, and curiosity can be overwhelming.
While the queen’s role focuses on doing what's right for her subjects, she must also make sure her family’s legacy and the integrity of monarch remain intact.
Qualities that provide guidance are wisdom, discretion, commitment, and dedication. Other assets include integrity, humility, compassion, and the desire to do right.
Proverbs 11:2-4 reminds us of this, “When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom. The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them. Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.”
The numbers of zeros in your bank account, your education, status nor lineage can prepare you for these queen-like qualities. It starts with good home traning and ends with a sincere desire to be all that God has called to be.
Queen-like qualities must be exhibited with dignity and grace. Examine yourself by considering the quailities your represent. Ask yourself if your behaviors and attitudes exhibit queen-like traits. Then, make the needed adjustments to become a queen after God's own heart.
