What will it take for you to give God the glory He so richly deserves?

What will it take for you to praise God with all of your being?

What will it take for you to honor God with your life and live by His command?

What will it take?

Maybe you need a near-death experience or to be healed from a deadly disease. You might require the ability to breathe without assistance or being able to walk on your own. A six-figure salary or a mansion on hill could be what you're waiting for. Those sound like excellent reasons to give God praise, glory, and honor. But, how about giving God praise, glory, and honor just because He’s God?
 

While being rescued from death, illness, and sickness or being financially able to have nice things are good reasons, there are so many others….

God is Creator, Sustainer, Provider, Savior, and Protector. He extends mercy and grace; gives unconditional love; forgives our sin; and blesses us regardless.

While you might not consider yourself to be in the perfect place, it’s always the perfect time to give God the glory He so richly deserves, to praise God with your entire being, and to honor God with your life by following His commands.

Psalms 34:1-4 reminds us of this, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His raise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.”

Don’t let it take calamity or peril; illness or disease; blessings or favor. Praise God with the fruit of your lips and the activity of your limbs because He is God. Honor God with your life because He deserves honor. Others will see your good works and glorify our Father in heaven.
